What To Expect

1) What Bible will the preacher be using?

The King James Bible is used exclusively in all ministries of Colonial Baptist Church - preaching and teaching sound doctrine.

2) Where do I park?

There is parking available in the front and rear of the building. Handicap accessible parking is located in both parking areas. In the back parking lot, there is a canopy "drop-off" point where you may let your family out, or you may allow our attendants to park your car for you. There is also handicap access in both front and rear of building.

3) What door of the Church do I enter?

Currently the majority of folks enter through the rear (North) entrance. There is a canopy drive available for "drop-off" and the north entrance is handicap accessible. As you enter the building there will be friendly greeters to meet you and answer any questions you may have. They will also be ready to direct you and your family to proper classes, nurseries, auditorium, etc., as the need may be.

4) Who will be taking care of our nursery age children?

At Colonial Baptist Church you may be assured that our well-staffed and well-trained nursery workers are more than qualified to provide for your children the very best care while affording you the opportunity to enjoy the worship services.

5) What about our older children?

On Wednesday night we have special programs, during our regular services, for children 4 years old through 6th grade. Pee Wee Patch Club is for children 4 years old through 1st grade and Patch Club is for children 2nd grade through 6th grade. These programs are Bible based and teach both Scripture and music. Every five weeks the children perform for us in our Sunday evening service. On Sunday morning we have Sunday School classes, Primary and Junior Church services for these same children. They are taught the Word of God on their own level by some wonderful Christian adults. On Sunday evening, everyone from 4 years old and up is in the auditorium for the main service of the evening.

6) What classes are available to attend?

Our Sunday School is set up by age and grade up through 12th grade. Your child will be in an age appropriate class with teachers equipped to teach them the Word of God. We currently have five adult classes: Singles, Young Couples, 30-50, 50+, and an auditorium class for adults of all ages. You are welcome to visit and attend the class that best meets your need and life-stage.

7) What kind of songs will be sung?

Timeless, traditional hymns that have blessed Christians for ages and teach sound Bible doctrine through their lyrics.
